Walter Konia
Hey my name is Walter and I have been a member at Flex since late 2020. Having completed my Bachelor of Physical Education at Otago University I started personal training and group fitness in a Dunedin based gym then moved on from the fitness industry for a couple years involving myself in conveyor belts up until recent and now refrigeration. My passion for exercise started during high school and has seen me take part in athletics, powerlifting, boxing, bodybuilding and CrossFit to name a few and has always played a major role in my life. I believe exercise should be a non negotiable part of everyone’s routine not only for its physical benefits but also its benefits to mental health and social integration. I’m now looking to apply what I’ve learnt from my studies and experiences over the years to others in the form of personal training to not only educate in some way about exercise technique, selection and progression but also help them to build a physique they can be proud of. Regardless of your experience or where you are in your fitness journey if you are willing to put in the effort so am I and will gladly look to make a positive impact in your gym sessions.
