Hi, my name is Phillip Hamlin. I have been a fitness trainer for over 15 years and a personal trainer for 4 of those. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always had an interest in sports and the fitness industry. It wasn’t until I was about 13 where I realised that I could really use my skills and talent to not only better myself, but also help others improve too. Through my late teens and then into my 20’s, I was involved in a lot of various sports, including representing NZ Maori in touch rugby at the world cup and competing at a national level in athletics. As I got older, a lot of people would ask me for advice or tips on how to better themselves or improve themselves in their chosen sport. I was only too happy to help to help them as when I was growing up, I was that same person asking for advice to improve my fitness and skills. That is where I got my passion for helping people. It is so rewarding to see not only the changes in their bodies, but a positive change in attitude and mind. My goal is to not only keep improving myself in my career but be the most successful person i can be in all areas of my life. I also want to help others acheive their goals, both physically and mentally.
