I’ve spent almost all my life in sport, and from a young age I was particularly heavy on the gymnastics and football. In the past 4ish years though, I have made the transition to CrossFit (I know it’s not for everyone but I love it!!). My passions for sport performance, general exercise, and health, carried into my studies which had me spend 3 years at Otago University getting my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Sport and Exercise Science & minoring in Sport Nutrition. I also gained my CrossFit Level 1 coaching certificate, and have coached CrossFit for the past year. This exposed me to people of all warps of life, levels of strength, fitness, and confidence. I also had the privilege of being an S&C coaches intern in women’s basketball, which gave me a new outlook on athletic development in the gym. As a trainer now at Flex, I’m here to help anyone reach their goals! Whether you’ve only just stepped into the gym, or are trying to make a reps team in an upcoming sport season.
