Tips on Finding the Right Time for Your Workout
Set your Alarm Early
If you plan to workout in the morning you will feel energized and refreshed. The benefit of this is your workout of the day is done and dusted in the morning before you plan your day or go to work — try set your alarm early and try attend a morning group fitness class, bootcamp session, or a run/walk.
Walk dates
Go for a walk date instead of the gym if you wanted a break or some fresh air! Take some time out with your family & friends and reconnect with them by having a walk date. This is a great way to get outside in the summer and also get some cardio done in your day.
Incorporate your kids into a workout
A great way to incorporate some fitness into your day could be a weekend trip to the park, river walk or hike with the kids. Great day out with your family and friends and you will also get a workout done as well!
BLOCK out time like it’s a work meeting
Use a diary or planner and block out some time just like a meeting you would have for work and scedule this in on a day to day basis. You wouldn’t cancel on your work meeting so why cancel on your workout for the day?
Netflix and TV time with a workout
You may be watching your favourite programme, instead of just sitting down, try and incorporate some easy excercises while watching TV. This could be squats, push ups or crunches. Or even try a bit of stretching and yoga while watching TV as well.
