Since I moved to New Zealand in 2004 from the UK, I have been inspired to share my passion for creating a healthy lifestyle for longevity. Over the last eight years, I have spent my time practising sustainable life choices, learning about what fuels my body, changing my sleep patterns and focusing on my training schedule to enable me to create my optimum way of life. My fitness journey has been largely sparked by the many hours that I have spent outdoors, completing New Zealand’s great walks and volunteering as a mountain guide on Mt Ruapehu and the Tongariro Crossing. I have learnt how training in the gym can enable you to achieve many things from attaining a personal best when lifting weights to climbing a mountain for the first time.
